About Riverfest

Riverfest is a non-profit event.

The brainchild of CKBW announcer Jonathan Crouse. It is his vision to bring a great music festival to the south shore of Nova Scotia which doesn't cater to just one type of musical taste.
With the overwhelming amount of talent in the Maritimes this vision has become a reality.

In 2006 Riverfest was honored with a nomination for "Music Event of the Year" by "Music Nova Scotia". The winner of this award went to the Juno's. Excellent company to keep and be nominated along side of. This nomination only enforces the fact that Riverfest is more than a flash in the pan.

Some of the acts that have graced the Riverfest stage include international acts such as MIR and Charlie A'Court along with local favorites Air Traffic Control and Short Notice. Both of which have performed at each Riverfest since it's inception in 2004.

All money raised (after cost) is donated to two local charities based in the south shore of Nova Scotia.

All acts involved donate their time and talent to the event. We are proud of all the performers whom have graced our stage since the beginning of this event. The generosity of each musician to share their art with the Riverfest attendees is truly appreciated.

With camping included in your pass and children under 12 not having to pay the admission fee (When accompanied by a legal guardian), you should plan your vacation around Riverfest.

Many businesses are located a short drive from the event site, such as Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire, Swiss Chalet, Boston Pizza and numerous others.

Be one of the first to buya pass for this years event. You'll be glad you did.
